soon they will be annihilated
and stuffed into a a final resting place,
snuffed out of farmers flowerbeds,
they'll deck the jars in crimson and violets,
crushed and marinated, they are butchered,
like the cows heads
or the goat's tails,
dancing under moonlight,
shivering beneath the sunshine,
there is life all around me,
strawberry, inkedgirl, stone and ant,
under one sky,
in a blink of time..............

****** have i truly lost it? ************

until you mentioned the animals I was thinking along the lines of grapes and jellies... whose time has come (although they are the fruit of the vine) not the flowerbeds... Must check this afternoon, my jars emptied quickly this year.

someone needs to lament for the srawberries, and i guess they too choose me.......
naked.......took some poetic licence,
flowerbeds, tho, yes, contain the herbs that go into the jars with the crimsons and violets......yes? yes......
thanks everyone
