Symphony Of Strings

in tune with
a gnarled mess
each time I look
more not less
orchestrated by
a symphony of strings
where melody
fights to sing
song sung of me
in my own time
carried by notes
upon these vines
tangled to where
it all began
to be undone
I don’t know when
a lullaby both
sad and sweet
bent yet not broken
where the music meets
at times lost
within these lines
some forever gone
I’ve much to find
the thin and thick
they are a part
these strings that
lead to my heart

I think I know, Kaoru...maybe it hits to close to home, makes the reader see inward a little too far, feel it a little too strongly, more than they're ready for....

It's certainly not the quality of the poem -- this is excellent.
