pulling against my heart. Oh I cannot bear.
Just recurring memories
still living in my head. Bittersweet stories.
Still those words a little closer to me now.
Those words that taught me to lie.
But they lift me into a fly,
above every taste, except for the taste of you.
For still there’s a little bit of your face
I haven’t kissed. I long to taste every bit of you.

-Teach me not to be shy-
All I need is your voice –sweetest- in my ear
so that I can give you back my voice.
So that you can hear me cry. I cry.
And I’ll ask to kiss, and to love, and to steel
your perfect bright eyes.
But with those words you borrowed,
You filled my sorrows.
You sang my cries.
You do not need me.
You do not need me.

Love is only an excuse to hurt and to get hurt... Knowledge brings ye fear.

How could anyone not need these words? beautiful, romantic poetry....the kind I like!

Thank you all very much. Your comments are much appreciated. And I'm sorry if I'm starting to flood the forum. I'll keep it to a minimum. How much would be wise to post a day? 2 or 3?

thanks for your understanding. we're advised by the guidelines to post no more than one, or at the very most, two, poems per day.
