where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-08-10 12:26 PM

I haven't got much to
offer..
just the entirety of who I am..
my heart, my soul
and the lot of things,
that build and almost
fester
inside of me.

Trust that I suffer,
I'll be damned if you don't
believe..
Why, even the smallest things
are what I've been lacking.

Importance was always defined by
priority..
And I'll never stop trying to be
at the tip top of the
ongoing list.

I'll keep loving you as
though the flowers never
withered
with old age..

But I know there's got to be more
to me
than what you've already claimed..
So tell me, gingerly
romantically,
poetically..how I've been
underlined beside your name..

So when people ask why, I'll say,
why not?
Have ye not been filled with
desires rage?

Slightly
remembering the words..
tell me..ease my pain.

So much emotion I know too much about but you said it better then I ever could! This is unreal. I love this.

meg, you write with such certinty    realizing we all grow and change with time , as do our ideas of who we are and what makes life bright and what makes it dark .. ... the planetary pulls were at your side with this one though, and you have a good sense of direction in mind ,     jwolf

Chance? .... isn't that a card in some game?

         Go directly to my heart.
         Do cruise by GO!
Do collect all the broken parts!

An excellent write, thank you for the read.

Yes, this is a very powerful piece. And very familiar of a feeling.

Love is only an excuse to hurt and to get hurt... Knowledge brings ye fear.

I've felt that before, I liked this it was full of energy and power!

I wear my crown of thorns
on my liar's chair
full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair
