Nothing else can make me ache,
Ever more than listening;
To the musing of your furtiveness pen
My soul would silent, sing

Clutch the cold and splintered stake,
Drive deep my sinking heart;
I found myself upon life's stage
Reading lines without a part

So, I dream to higher beauty,
And there my sights assume;
Then I awoke and found me here
In the darkness of my room

Dare confess to higher conscience,
Till nothings left to earn;
Seems what I lack in courage
My broken heart must learn

Alas, it's what is done to me,
When memory turns to you;
Out here on the razor's edge
My blood is colored blue

I like this one a lot -- you've captured well the intent in a style that flowed effortlessly.  AND...  I can relate.
