If you can catch the salt of my tears
touch the sway of my hips
and taste the want on my lips

I will be yours
for tonight

If you can run your hands
down the span of my back
and not care what I lack

I am for you
tonight

If you brush the hair from my face
graze my essense with your eyes
and don't care for long goodbyes

I need you
for tonight

If you can take only what I give
and make me once again feel whole
then I will gently touch your soul

for tonight

Susan, this is really good writing.
I'm glad that I didn't miss it. Poems get
down the page so fast, don't they?
