I never had girls of my own, but my boys sure did bring alot of them to my house.  Keep her locked in the closet till she's at least 25, for your own sanity.

LOL...hey! I've got one of them!!!....She's fourteen....going on 25, We're not Catholic but my plans are still for her to enter a convent and becoming a nun....I'm going to let her drive when she's 30.....I taught Hapkido and boxing many years ago....I have a very large shotgun, a pistol, can throw knives...shurikins, can work nun-chuks fairly well, my son weighs 176, bench presses 350, has taken every martial art you can dream of, (from real instructors...no selling belts etc.)....kickboxing, boxing, grappling, can run the 40 in 4.4....so I figure...if she can get by me, him, the guns and the other nuns....they can have her....

Sunshine;  your sympathy is greatly appreciated...

Martie; yep, just payin for my raisin.  My father was a saint (but there was that girl who always sang "the only one who could ever reach me was the son of a preacher man")

Inot; thanks for the advice -- but, I'd have to support her that long too?

Beanie; what?  you think I deserve this?

Susan; fortunately we're not there yet.  But she wants me to buy her a guitar for her birthday and teach her to play.  (something about a singer named AVril?  heh)

Bonnie; yep what eV eR

Raph; your day will come.  Karma is gonna get us alllllll....

Toe;  ol buddy Buzz... I figure you prolly have a double dose of Karma coming.. heh... the U.S.S. Enterprise probably couldn't save you...

Thanks all!

Rebel,

Oh you are so lucky...Avril is tame!!!  Mine likes Insane Clown Posse....oh I have a headache just thinking about it....I can laugh about this stuff b/c my teen girly girl is actually a good kid, she went through some stuff and is a better person for it.  Her and I have a great relationship and she is my heart.

Thank goodness I have boys!  You'll probably need to worry about my boys more than your girls.     We're saving our money now.. to pay for damages in their dating years. lol

Just remember there are those of us who would  love to have a daughter...or a son for that matter.

Just enjoy her...

Oh yes, Reb...I remember those days....
and, she's an only child, too...
and the first grandchild.

They do say, though...you will reap what you
sow...and I certainly did and do.

It's aaallllll  worth it, though, Hawk.
Hugs to you
Ethel

littlewink -- oh 4.... I love em at 4  enjoy!

Karou -- it isn't bad at all -- it's just complicated

Ethel -- have to agree -- worth everything

I have a daughter, 14 going on 45.  I have told her that she is not to complain when a boy comes to call and I am sitting at a table cleaning a weapon.

Since I do that often, she believes me.

From the time she could talk though, she has had that one hand on hip finger shaking in my face attitude.

God knows where it goes from here.
