Do you look
When you know you shouldn’t see?
Do you go
Places where you shouldn’t be?
Will you only for the bad guy
That just makes you sad and cry?
Do the tattoos attract you
Or is it the rough beard he wears,
Is it his crude manner
Or that he really doesn’t care?
Why do you walk by
And never let me catch your eye
When his cruelty brings you down
And in your own tears you drown,
Is it because I’m clumsy and can’t dance
That you never give me a chance?
Is it the I don’t watch your favorite TV show
That I can’t find the hip places to go
Am I just too old
Or not quite bold,
So instead of another cry
Can’t you just pretend I’m the bad guy?

I've never figured out that chemistry...although I know from watching life that it's truly there...perhaps it's the rebellion that "all good girls cannot admit to" that they see falling out of the guy you described...

Whatever...

I know that you pinpointed it quite well, Professor - but then, that is your signature...pinpointing things well...

Thank you, gemjop,
You are very kind, I agree, I don’t mind geeky

Thank you, 1slick_lady,
But I’m a different type of bad
I’m the bad that doesn’t attract the women.

Hummmm

There is a mistaken generality that the majority of society falls for, the false assumption that men with tattoos and who ride motorcycles are bad boys and need to be avoided or are somehow more thrilling than the 'good' boys. It is hype, of course, but it makes for a decent poem once in a while.
