Man can you spare
A little bit of money
I gots me a woman
Yea, she’s one fine honey

The man in the alley
Said I don’t have a cent
See this bottle of Jim Beam
That’s where it was spent

The man in the doorway
shook his head with a sigh
said no sorry buddy
I used mine to get high

The man in the churchyard
Said hallelujah with a shout
I spent mine on her last week!
Nope, not me, plumb out

This reminds me of the woman who was begging outside my bank... for $100 from each person!!! I had to pick my jaw up off the sidewalk... cause she's in nicer clothes than I own... saying she wants to better herself. *G* Don't we all!!!

As much as we love to help people... that's almost as bad as 'em havin' a sign sayin' they'll except Visa or Mastercard. But then again, I was so very disappointed with the Red Cross and the way they handled 911... for those who want to help, who's to trust..?

Good thoughts on this one PdV.

I asked a couple of people for a phrase to use writing a poem. One of the replies was, I don't have one...nope, not me, I'm plumb out. Someone suggested I use that as my phrase so that's what I did...I'm glad you all like it!
