Blue fails you

Perhaps the color of fire
would better suit with stripes
of gold tipped with silver
For emphasis-
After all, you are royal
But never blue...

Nor the green
For depthless purple struck with crimson
compliments the robe and crown
underscoring
your encompassing the forest
More than the green...

Neither white nor black
For one merely follows the
other into grey somedays
while parading supreme
twelve hours each on others

Perhaps
The color of rain
for your tears taste of
salt and red candy
of freshly picked apples
in a storm washed valley
near some lonely babbling creek

You do alone so well...

Is it that you've become
too accustomed to the thin
wash of solitude?
For your eyes shine liquid
pastels of windmilled landscapes
and sea-sprayed driftwood

Oh, but the blending of two
Posting prismatic against
azure and billowing white
splashes of buttery yellow to
highlight our journey into
togetherness

Alone, so well.

Whatever you decide to paint
yourself in this hour
let it be vibrant & alive
Singing with colors of
passionate emotion
For this is who you truly are

Blue fails you...

Gads...
I'm melting.

An exquisite blending
you two.

Curtsey and bow...
for you are both deserving
of the applause!

Ed and Tier . . .
*applauding*
I am truly amazed at the imagery
taking a simple tear and turning it into a river . . .
a color and making it a rainbow
two thoughts and making them one
I am in awe . . .

Tiersdin and Wranx~
Were I asked to recommend a duet from this site, I would proudly introduce the two of you~

Seamless blending beauty~

'Is it that you've become
too accustomed to the thin
wash of solitude?
For your eyes shine liquid
pastels of windmilled landscapes
and sea-sprayed driftwood

Oh, but the blending of two
Posting prismatic against
azure and billowing white
splashes of buttery yellow to
highlight our journey into
togetherness'

One of the most beautiful things it's ever been my pleasure to read here~

Oh, Tiersdin and Ed, this is so beautiful. I hope this is not the last duet you two do. I love this and I'm going to keep it. Hope you don't mind.

I truly cannot tell where either of your words began or ended! You must have poured your inks into one pen and written with one  hand on top of one of the other's--and the gilt pen was guided by two very poetic souls!

Now see! You've all turned me into the blushing poetess! *chuckles*  Thank you all for your wonderful responses. It makes a girl feel really good.

Ed,
Without you, this poem wouldn't have turned out as lovely as it has, so, Thanx Wranx!
*Major hugs & a big ol' smackaroo to you*

From my heart to all of yours,
