some where deep in the shadows

The world trembles,
As knees hit the ground
Looking to the sky
Eyes searching,
For something divine
Hoping for redemption
From this burden of sin,
Crushing the man to the ground
Feeling no breath, feeling no redemption
He is the sundered, the lost
Thy eyes speak to the stars
Allowing no mistake of sin to pass
The stars only blink despondently
Giving thee no chance of redemption
For the lost one has never forgiven another
So now the stars give no forgiveness to the lost man
They bleed only in quiet sadness
Sundered souls have no place,
Amongst the stars with His Grace
The stars die slowly
While a crying angel comes to the man
Who needs,
Who wants,
Who only deceives
The angel judges the mans worth
Giving him only a shred of hope
The weight of time balanced on a single shining tear
Slowly it falls, to end nevermore
And such was the story of this man
Cast to hell for crimes that stole the angel's breath
Stolen as fast as the man's hope

-lance

There is no peace among the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter and the laughter of thirsting gods

Amazing imagery portrayed through these words which were so very well written.

Take care......Sue
