I wrote this when my boyfriend and I were having a difficult time:

Lately I have been thinking
And I have I question I need to ask
But finding the answer to this question
Seems to be a difficult task

I am wondering what has happened here
In this life we call our own
I love you with all my heart
But it seems I am living this life alone

Lately you have been different
But you say it’s me that’s changed
But I see changes in you
The way you act is strange

Like I thought when you love someone
You like being together
When was the last time “we” hung out?
It seems like it’s been forever

I guess to you it doesn’t matter
We have been together for six years
Who cares if I sit alone
What’s just a few more tears

Well I do care
And I am tired of the tears
If anything we should be closer
After all these years

So this is a message to you my love
This is the way that I feel
Don’t just say I’m trippin’
What I say is real

I am tired of chillin alone
I’m tired of boring nights
I’m tired of you always leaving me
Causing pointless fights

This isn’t the way to live
This isn’t how a relationship should be
So I’m saying things need to change
Honey, Love me, or leave me.

I have read this poem 4 times now. It really hit close to home. Even down to the time together of six years. Is funny sometimes how complete strangers can seem to live scuh similar lives. This was my marriage to an exact T. By the way, she chose to leave.... Thoroughly enjoyed the read, thank you for posting.

Thanks Mystical... Im glad you enjoyed it...it is crazy how different people in different places at different times go through the same things huh? I've chosen to stay...for the time being, lately things have been better, but better doesn't always last right? So we'll see I guess. Thanks for reading.
