I wrote this for one of my best friends, Melissa, who was plannig on moving away not too long ago, Lucky for me, she didn't, but I gave her this anyways:

Im My Heart

I am writting this to you
To tell you you're my friend
and to tell you that no matter where you go
I'm here until the end
I know that you're leaving
and I really don't know why
All I know for sure
is I dread the day we say good bye
I know I haven't known you long
but you have changed my life
and to think of it without you
Tears at my heart like a knife
I am going to miss you when you're gone
I don't know what I'll do
who am I going to share my secrets with?
I only trust them with you
Who do I run to with my problems
who do I talk to when I'm sad
who will be there when I'm down
to lend a helping hand
I don't know anyone
who cares as much as you
you have always been there for me
whenever I needed you
I am thankful for every minute I spend with you
and I pray they never end
because I know that once you're gone
my heart will never mend
I never knew how to tell you these things
never knew how to say I care
so I am writting this to you no w
my feelings with you I share
the point of this is to tell you
that I l ove you with all my heart
and to tell you that this heart will break
as soon as we're apart
I'll miss you more than you'll ever know
and I pray that you don't go
but I'm sure you're mind is set
and only you truely know
So when you're miles away
think of me all the time
and dont lose all the memories
that stick out in your mind
remember that I love you
and that I will always be here
we may not be close together
but in my heart you are always near.
