it seems
that when we are
in our spring
and our summer
all must be there,too

filled with warmth
with joy
surrounded by
the singing of the birds
the flitting of the butterflies
the buzzing of the bees

yet
when we are in our autumn
or our winter
we often feel alone
in the cold
of it
in the harsh hail of it
in the torrential rain of it

then
we come here
and find the PIP of reality
where voyagers
from around the Earth
gather
pour out their emotions

reminding us
winter and summer
spring and fall
simultaneously flow
about our world
and the touch of our
spring and summer
may be just the salve
for the autumn
and winter
of the bards
about the land

it is never
always
winter
or spring
summer or fall
listen for the call

How true this is - when corresponding with certain Pipsters, I need to remember a season and time where they are not "with me" seasonally but with me in the blue pages, nevertheless...

that's why I don't mind posting winter poems in [my] summertime - because for someone, somewhere, it WILL be relevant! Very nice, Virginia!

How right you are regarding friends near and far , or reasons and seasons , while
it is winter here it is summer there
yet we are of seasonal blend from friend to friend
