(Hey everyone! I'm so happy to be back! I had a great time in Ireland and over the course of eleven days I got to see much of the island, as west as Dingle Bay, north as Galway, and as east as Dublin. And, of course, I wrote some beautiful poetry of the island for you all to enjoy! )

This first one I'm sharing is of the gorgeous Dingle Bay Peninsula, probably one of the single most beautiful places on this planet I've seen so far. It inspired me of how easily you can bring beauty to such a place, and so I made up my own character: Captain Archipalego and the notion "Take what you have and make a mountain out of it!" This is my land, and I will spread more colors than you can ever imagine! This is what came out!)

Captain Archipalego's Peninsula
By: Noah Eaton
7/26/03

Give me a sign to show me how to live
This great divide has been seperated long since
I only hope that the weather will remain stable
As I am sinking waist-deep in these shallows

Above me I can see a beam of light penetrate the clouds
And you can hear the Uilleann pipes playing out loud
Emerging from the ocean, I taste the holy water
Trembling to the silvery words of a beloved Father

That God made a peninsula...
That God made a peninsula...

Captain Archipalego said, "Take this island,
and make a mountain out of it!"
So I went and made a mountain out of it
Captain Archipalego said, "Take this island,
and make a mountain out of it!"
So I went and made a mountain out of it

Give me a white flag to stake upon this hill
Give me some fuchsia to scatter across the ridges by my own will
Give me a wren that can fly higher than ever imagined
Give me a horse that can triumphantly rival the wind

So God made a peninsula...
So God made a peninsula...

Looking back at history, I can see it through a sheeps eyes
The less travelled road is like an ogham stone
With honeyed Braille that you can justify
And the only tariff necessary to pay
Comes from my own intuition
For I see a sanctity of blanketed visions
Walking beside the untamed ocean...

So I graced this peninsula...
So I graced this peninsula...
I took this island
And made a mountain out of it
I took this island
And made a mountain out of it
You are my music
You are my music...

Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story

***Shakira***

Ohhhhhh the adventures you must have experienced ... I can only imagine.  But then hopefully you will share them with us in your writing, which you do so very well, and then we shall all know.

Welcome back ... love the picture, too ... I want to go there!

Enjoyed this one.

Hey Noah, you were on my side of the big ocean LOL, why didn't you hop over

I'm sure you had a good time in 'ol' Ireland, it's my wish to go there too some time. LOL, in long past days we've even considered moving to there.

Great poem as always,

Love, Titia
