Essence of The Day

Upon the soft grasses
in the meadow, me and
my sweetheart lay.
Gazing into the eyes
of each other,
caressing the essence
of the day.
The forest winds
are blowing,
like her they
touch my heart.
In the meadow
grace is flowing,
love is growing
in my heart.
