Shimmering poplars
Catch the rays of morning sun
~ Reflections of light ~

Whispering willows,
Softly swaying to and fro,
Sing their soulful songs.

Soughing windswept pines,
Limned by the light of the moon,
Reach into the night.

O, pillar of strength,
With arms out-stretched and your trunk
So deeply rooted.

Crabapple blossoms,
A blaze of passionate pink,
Lining our lane way.

Snow-laden cedars,
Silent sentinels on guard
In the forest deep.

A wonderful writer such as yourself would be able to write anything!--if the desire to do so was strong enough!

Thanks, Sue, for the kind words!

Marti, I love trees too! In fact I think I may have been one in a past life! lol I probably was a willow! Next time around I think I'll be an oak--they are hardier than a graceful willow...

Luvvum huggums,
LL
