A woman writes
In ink of tears
Expressing longings
Facing her fears
She writes of love
And days gone by
She writes of dreams
Reaching for sky
Remembers lovers
And mourns their loss
She knows that life
Exacts its cost
Unworthy feelings
That lurk inside
Are known to pen
They cannot hide
She write of aches
Within her soul
And tells of love
That made her whole
Magical moments
Exist through time
Captured forever
Within her rhyme
She writes of being
So far apart
And hopes that he
Can feel her heart.

True...

And then there are times when it nags at me to be wrote and I just can't find the words..or the courage.  One of the two.

Very nice.

Laura, you just get better and better....aside from anything else, it won't be long before writing like this starts wiping out those "unworthy feelings".... but you already know that, since this poem is ABOUT getting better and better.....

ah, thought I had replied to this last week, but being sent home early for a bomb scare might have affected my recollection and my posting time *smile*
this is wonderful lady, I think one of my favorites of yours....it makes me remember when I wrote of hope and love, but I don't think ever as well as you have penned this
