Poetry In (E)Motion

~~*~~

In the still of the night
I am seduced by me-you thoughts,
rummaging in contentment,
holding onto the tender
waiting for the messenger of heart
to give me a starring role.

~~*~~

A gift of passport carved in stone
rests beside me,
sealed by hands
coated with passion
to season each day
with a taste of heart.

~~*~~

Only a dream away
is my world of want
in silent afterthought, as I
legend you, within my circle,
feeling your myst upon my soul
wondering if my dreams
cross the distance
to touch yours.

~~*~~

Slipping away into morning
I am keyed to reality,
its softness a recipe
of poetry in motion.

~~*~~

M

"...rummaging in contentment,..."
I wish I had written that!

Hugs,
D

I bought my share of mistakes so I might see some interest.

I sometimes wonder how I can start my day feeling so good...to only have it turn around on itself...
I am glad some of you  were able to read  a pleasant write of mine today.
Thank you

M
