where the wild flowers grow

Candy flavored,
purple lip-gloss.
My tongue cannot resist,
licking the aftertaste
from my lips.

Watering flowers,
beware of the locusts.
Another hum-drum day,
the temperature sifts.

A desk collects ash
from my cigarettes.
Boring morning,
breathlessness.

A dollar blows in the
wind, restless.
A rose falls from it's
stem..

Hey Kaoru - you must watch "Dog Day Afternoon" , Al Pacino, Sal Marino
the mundane becomes the inevitable
as you have written
