This is beautiful
water wrist deep
cools
disbelief
mocked veins
once again
alive

It ended
with
click and goodbye
and now?
I smile

I'm not myself
alone with you
in person
living
on thick rules
confines
of envelope

Standing on rooftop

I saw the sky closer

Day by day
the outside burnt
and wings flew
to ravage
what was you
and what was me

Stood on emotions rooftop

becoming insanities perfection

I saw you closer

and went inside.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

cheers you guys. just realising I don't like someone and the way theyve treated me, now I've stood back and looked, who i once thought was gods gift

I had a dream about john lennon. we were singing in my living room! that symbolises peace don't it? I think so.

We need that moment of retrospect so often. Good write, Gemma.

You can't judge a book by its cover ...

           nor by its inner word.

You must hear the whole story,

than go with what you heard.

You are indeed insanity's perfection. If that is possible. Great poem..and since you are such a beetles fan.... speaking of insane-did i tell you that my mom met George Harrison on a cruise boat? he bumped into her and appologized and invited her to a party but she didn't go because she said her friend would leave her. pretty stupid huh. I'd have gone if it were me. heh...I'm not lieing she really did.

Insanity's perfection.

I fess up, I loved that too...

and chuckling at Wind's signature:

"Insanity is not a crime."

Grin, no, but it IS a defense.

Wonderful writing gemma. Your style, does indeed remind me very much of the madviking brian.

and psssst...Hope you finally got some sleep. I know how THAT is too...sigh.
