I just watched the news,
Couldn't believe my ears,
The police are hunting a suspect,
Our beloved Balladeer.

They said that Balladeer,
Hi-Jacked a panel van,
It was loaded with Viagra,
A crime he had well planned.

They've called an all points bulletin,
They're looking far and near,
For that "hardened" criminal,
The poet Balladeer.
