where the wild flowers grow

The mistake
I knew I was making.

Dodge a closed hand,
the same that had
given me flowers.

Do you mean what you say
when you're angry?
Do those harsh comments
make you feel better?

Black eye,
bruised rib,
crackling chew
of my own teeth.

Somehow,
this I knew is
the real you..

Your point plays pressure
my neck caves, echo..
Your tongue finds home in my
mouth,
so that I can't speak
of my disgust.

Do you mean
what you say
when you're angry?

Do those words really hold that much meaning to you?

Grabbing pieces
of your worthless skin,
I'll let my
opinion
sink right in..

Oh my, get out of that relationship or friendship if this is your reward for love and compassion; where there is no discussion...brute force
has an easier access. Enjoyed the graphic description of the events

oh my oh my how love is blind...his words tore a hole in my heart...his anger left me in shreds...his distrust for himself, distrusted others....his accusations left a storm of meaning behind....one we should have seen in the beginning....but love is blind.

Broke my heart. Your writing reminds me of David Usher's early writing with Moist. Stark, honest but beautiful

parts of Kill for you

came to grind me into stone
polishing the angled flesh and bone
the smallest cut to drain my soul
precious words of comfort swallowed whole

..you tore the makeup from my face
with every acid word you ever knew
now every line and crack exposed
exploited fully till each scar shone through

..you came to grind me into stone
polishing the angled flesh and bone
the smallest cut to drain my soul
precious words of comfort swallowed whole

oh no she said
i tried for love
and i'd die for love
but i'd kill for you

i want
i want
i wanted to...

strip me from the top down
rip me from the raw
into this higher place

don't want to die
