From shore, the outline of relax, a solitary thin
As one with self and sun, at dawn set sailing
Test lines, and tensile strength, adventures in begin
In company of angels, determined wit prevailing

To trade for all the gold, by day or night again
A boat or shoreline could be grounds set trailing
Cast far beyond the break, far beyond the surfs soft tin
In colors all his own, the see of all he’s hailing

Abridged the canvas cap tops rod and real treasure
Oar back, the tide has turned, the storm unveiling
And think against the race to trace life’s fullest pleasure
But then to be again a fisherman in sea songs wailing

And I have watched the picture paint against the hues of autumn
But never to be told the words, “Gave up before I caught ‘em!”

Your writing sets me adrift,  like a song that sings to my soul.

TD~   I hope you know!

TD,
I have been getting many messages in this area.  Hmmm...I think I'd better heed these words.  I am tucking this one away for future inspiration...which, by the way, I know I will need...because I know me.

Wonderful!

Patricia
