witnessing the scars of skin
in the play of back of hand
drift a gaze and drooling chin
and a breast in a half moon
downing in black satin play
waves reveal the flesh beneath
underneath reflection bright
as I backward capturing
the tide to hold the pelvic thus
thighs apart and toes that thrust
frothing in delight of reef
just beneath the waves of reach
foam and fingers yearning so
minerals and coraling
as I pound the bottom'd feet
into clouds of where I am
in the float of dweller breed
and ye hear the siren's sing
calling ye, yeah calling ye--
calling me, "Yeah. Ye come home."

Why in God's name have I sat here for an hour looking at this, going back to it
then clicking it on this instant to see a mermaid beneath the moon?
Am I insane?

Karen...how did I miss this?  Very cool, lady...I love it.

And?...smiling at this comment...

"Fins are just wings underwater."

I love the way you think!
