I Felt I Should Remind You

How soon we do forget
It is like I never existed
I felt I should remind you
Of tenacity that persisted

I am not writing the end
Do not bury me just yet
I felt I should remind you
Of how soon some forget

If forever ends too soon
Could it be the distance
I felt I should remind you
Of my poetic persistence

At the back of your mind
Was I a past fascination
I felt I should remind you
Of dogged determination

Dreams we had shared
If you do remember me
I felt I should remind you
Of all my steadfast loyalty

Very nice! It flowed smoothly, and I like the repetition of "I felt I should remind you"

Sometimes we all need a little reminder!

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
