I needed to find some kind of happiness to hold
tightly on to.
My happiness turned out to be you.

I needed to find the strength to somehow go on
alone once again.
My strength turned out to be you.

I needed solace from the constant hurting, damage,
and pain.
My solace and balm turned out to be you.

I needed comforting and just a little understanding
point of veiw.
I found all of this plus more while just being near
you.

I needed someone to listen and to guide me over
this storm driven sea.
That gentle person and guiding compass turned out to
be you.

I needed passion in my heartless and often rocky
exsisting life.
My passion has turned out to be you.

For in a garden of silent stautes posed in solemn
prayer, my heart opened up finally to you and so
much more did we share.

You've restored my hope and given me room to blossom
and to grow.  You've given me more than you
possibly ever will know.

Forgive me this once, for shutting you out, because
of the raw intense pain.  I swear by all the gods
above me to do it never more while breath in me shall remain.

Thanks Patch for always being there.
