Shhhh, Don't Tell Mother
~*Marge Tindal*~

Past recriminations playing ping-pong in my head
my God there were times I truly wished you dead
Too long the why of total deny
Too late the tears of cradled fears
that fell from childhood eyes
Evil spawns the same-alike
if given half-a-chance
But I'll not go to Satan's lair
to watch you burn-in-dance
For it is written that you shall writhe
for the evil of your deeds
Burn, burn ... please, please burn
for you are Satan's seed~

Dear Marge:  This is quite a departure from your usual writes. Has such dark overtones and I hope is not from personal experience.

Marge, This is indeed frightening, especially if this was a real scenerio to a small child.

Ah, yes. The story may not be that of the poet, but is undoubtedly the story of someone.

Captivating write. Conjures up all kinds of emotions!

Friends~
Having mentored for years with young children, I can tell you that it is indeed a dark side of so many childhoods.

Never, ever should a child, or child-turned-adult, be afraid of the anger and hatred toward the monster who would perpetrate such dispicable deeds.

Just next door, or down the street ... there is a child being sexually abused right now.
The scars stay for a lifetime.

I am hoping that this piece helps to give them voice to say 'I didn't do anything ... YOU did ... and I hate you for what you did.'

I have had it bring tremendous relief to those who were 'afraid' of the tears and the feelings of hatred toward their abuser.

My apprecition to those of you brave enough to have left your comments on this one~
Sincerely~

Margie girl, darling sister with a heart as wide as the ocean and as loving as HE is, what can I say but that this is truly amazing writing. Its true too often that sexual abuse is swept under the carpet, its not a nice subject so people won't talk about it. But if we don't talk about it how can we stop it? The only way to bring this dark and wicked act to justice is to show we are not afraid to speak out when we know something is wrong. And darling one YOUR voice echoes with love and clarity.

THANK YOU for this one darling heart sister YOU are an amazing and outstanding writer

Love you always
and forever

Sometimes it takes an adult pen to make known the voice of the little child, one who may be terrified to speak for themselves. Oh, Marge, what you wrote here is so needed by the little ones who have been abused, neglected, and hurt.  They need a voice, and I applaud you for giving us these insights. Thank you, ~V~

I'm glad this isn't really about you! But you spoke the truth in it nonetheless.
