SOMEWHERE OUT THERE is a golden rainbow Casting GOLDEN CIRCLES upon the mantle As THE CANDLE BURNS on into the coming dark TODAY I reflect on the love we lost IF ONLY we had been able to see love The damage OF HEARTS AND MINDS we were creating And THESE CHAINS we were casting around our lives That ONLY LOVE would have saved IF ONLY we had known THIS SECRET shared by only some By those who were WATCHING YOU walk away from me Mourning the love of THIS GUY, THAT GIRL THAT WAS WHEN we were both too young to know That love, ONE DAY GONE, is forever lost FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, NOT JUST TODAY I send you away in peace OK, OK... maybe it's not my best, however I figured that if her challenge was good enough to do, then my Type-A personality would be able to find a way to over-do it. We see the light of those |
