~*~

Summer nights lie still
beneath a canopy of stars
warm and humid in the glistening

fastened to the cling~

Strobing lights flash and sparkle
drifting intimately in the grandeur
spinning daydreams on display

as midnight breezes through an open door~

Shadows rise and fall
splashing against the break wall
racing around my heart beat

now I lay me down to sleep, I pray~

Humming softly in my slumber
to the sound of rolling waves
washing over my desire

reflects the moon when it is full~

Soft and smooth like satin splays
sliding over sideways
slipping down and faraway

beaded in quicksilver strands~

Picking a favorite part is tough when every line is so well written and evokes such peaceful images. *S* But I do love these lines... *S*

Mysteria~ Thank you for that!
I hope you know how special you are to me.

Martie~ Thank you for sharing the goodness in your heart with mine.

Wind~ So me, so blue, what else is new?  Thanks~

Oh suthern~ You are such a special lady,
and I'm so glad to see you here.
Thank you, thank you.

Michele~ Sometimes I wonder what's wrong with me,
you're all making my eyes water.
I really didn't think this was all that great,
I'm somewhat flabbergasted.
Thank you always, girlielocks.

Thank you Lady In White for your lovely reply.

Ethel~ Watch out now, I think I'm going over the top,
thank you for everything dear one.
