The man of my dreams
Isn’t perfect you know
His face has some flaws
Showing the wild oats of sow

His hair may be thinning
Turning a bit gray
His body may stretch
A bit out this way

But his eyes, my they sparkle
And his smile sure does gleam
He’s quiet when he needs to
But his humor is a scream!

Some may say he’s boring
There’s no flash in his pan
But to me he is just
The perfect man!

Now that is the way I feel about my own guy! And who needs perfection anyway, huh??  This is great, PdV!!!  ~V~

Perfection in other humans, such as ourselves, would be b-o-r-i-n-g.. lol

But perfection in the poetic rendition of something like this... ah!!! now that you have down pat

Raph!! I've waited all my life for a man like you!!! LOL

Thank you all. I'm tired of men who think they are God's gift to women because of their looks. Character stays...looks are fleeting....give me a man with a sense of humor any day!

So well spoken Sharon!  Perfection comes in many different forms for all of us.  Mine comes in the form of a man 13 years my senior, who keeps his head shaved because of the gray that pokes through...and I love him just as much now, as I did the first time I saw him (well the first time I saw him I was 12 I think)...he says he remembers seeing me in diapers!

I loved this write, and I read it to him!
You even made him smile, and that's a chore...hehe

My hair's not thinning
Though a tad gray
And my body's as fit
As as if teen-aged.

So come on over sweetie!!!
