Graphic From Teardrop Sigs

~*~
As you read words and
thoughts from our heart
We are sharing ourselves
if just a small part

Writers have a way of
showing their emotion
If you read closely
you will see their devotion

Sometimes we write
of our love, so fair
Other times a playful write
we so glady share

Whether we write from
experience or imagination
We do it all with
care and dedication

Trying to share
feelings from our heart
We tell many of them
if we ever start

Some of our tales
get very long, you see
They have to be continued
parts one,  two,  and three

Other times they are written
very short and sweet
To the readers
a nice little treat

No matter what we read
on these pages of blue
It is part of the writers heart
written clear and true

We should always be careful
when replying of what we say
Trying not to hurt
a heart we read today
~*~

revisited, renamed

beautiful ethel, but you know what is spooky
sometimes these blue pages become our hearts, they draw us in at much too much,
those of us i guess with weak knees, does this make sense?

Yeah, Michele...it makes complete sense. I
think a lot of us get so involved and trust
so much that we could get hurt really bad if
someone on the internet wanted to deceive us.
We are lucky to have a site like PIP to help us, I think.
Thanks, Lady.

This is so true and words that we can all take to heart, especially the last part, as it is easy to hurt others who have the same sensitivity as we ourselves have.  Wonderful work, and enjoyed the thoughts here!  ~V~

We bare our souls, and tell so much of what we are, and what we feel in the deepest places of our being. I love what you say in this write about us. When we spill our feelings there should always be a feeling of a safe haven when we do, and that's what it feels you are expressing about these blue pages. I agree, very much so, it is a LOVELY place to be!!!

Sometimes I find that things can only be said properly in poetry.  I have often wondered if that is a weakness in me or a strength in poetry.

Thanks for writing it out and clearing that up for me.

thanks for reminding that though our poems may be different in many ways, they are ALL due a fair listen, toward respect.

Ethel,

This is the truth beautifully said, my friend.  There are times when I post my "gritty" stuff and think...oh my gosh...what have I done.  But here, someone...at least one...knows of which I speak, and what a comfort their replies provide!

Big hugs to you, lady.

Ethel--To be a poet is a lucky thing...for I wonder how those who aren't, express the deep feelings that everyone has.  You are such a dear, you know that?

Hi garysgirl...

Sometimes I think we forget that it can take a lot of courage to share some of the things that we do. But this is a lovely gentle reminder to be nice to each other!
