Pound
ripples of sound
round and round
all around

Light
giving me sight
tonight
ripe flight
will take

High
then I will pry
the distance thats in the sky

shy
my mind blinds

heavy heart
eyes cry

devise

surprise!
my heart lies
fated to rise

gotta a nice beat to this--I like to play with words too, and I thought you did a nice job of conveying mood with a beat.
