at first chance when my eyes
focused on you all dressed in
your lavender tutu with ruffles
my tender heart knew it was
not puppy love

i still remember seeing you
behind the white picket fence
with your puggy nose in the
air and sticking your tongue
out at me

then one day as i was walking
to school you had fallen from
your bike and was laying there
sobbing

as i lifted your bike off and helped
you up you gave me a hug and
kissed my cheek

my face blushed and you giggled
and rode off turning with a clanceing
smile that still lingers within my mind

never will i forget you in blu jeans
and t-shirts or the short shorts and
pig tails and pony tails

never forgotten will be when i waited
for you to come down the winding
stairs in your mint green prom gown
with your auburn hair in a french twist

remembrances of the look on your
face have frozen in my mine when
i asked you to be my wife

now standing at the alter again i wait
for you to walk down the aisle as the
music starts you enter with your white
gown and it's train gliding behind

the veil your wearing cannot hide the
glow on your face with your long
auburn hair so silky flowing on your
shoulders

my truest and honest love for you
has been within my heart from seeing
you from tutu to your wedding gown

A voice of honesty
   is treasured
more than voices
   of flattery

Awww how sweet!

My husband (13 years my senior) says that he remembers seeing me in diapers...haha

That used to be soooo embarrassing!

Lovely tribute to your lady Love!
Tender write!
