Another Day

The sun
Came out
And hit me flush
Brought a shadow
In a rush

And quickly slipped
Into decay
And lost
For me
Another day

No matter what the day brings..
I've learned to treasure each one.
And the best ones do seem to fly by the quickest.
Have a wonderful day Sy.

Ah, Seymour, your writing this morning reminds me of the song that went..."what a difference a day makes....twenty-four little hours."  Gone in a blink the days are. Thankyou for this. Toast and strawberry preserves with tea? hugs, Chris

I love you
With a thousand hearts."

Sunshine
It seems to me like some things happened only yesterday.

Nancy,
Was it yesterday we had tea? LOL

Then mark it well. LOL

Chris,
This song would go, Makes no difference which day makes. Twenty four little flowers.
LOL

Goodmorning Seymour
Sometimes the days drag by, but the years
go very quickly...like this one. It wil
be Christmas again before we know it. The
year is already half over. Goodness!! Where
does the time go?

Sy

Yesterday I was at the beach
it ended with some sleep
can't hold on    the minutes gone
except in poetry's keep

Great job. And you make the write last about as long as the action... maybe I could learn something from that.

The sun
Came out
And warmed my skin ...
reminding me of
dawn's brilliant begin.

Each day starts
with poetic impart ...
each morn your words
jumpstart my heart.

JM,
We just had an electrical storm and it blew one of my tv sets. I could use a jump start on that. LOL In the mean while,
