The colors are gone
Everything bleached out
The life sucked dry
People surround me
Yet I am alone
Nothing seems real
Only a shell
I must go on
I forget why
Smile pleasantly
It's only a game
That nobody wins
An exercise in irony
Living in Pleasantville

Yes...Pleasantville...you've described it well.
Nicely done.
