Perhaps it was the morning sun
or the way the breeze fluttered the curtains
into the room
creating my mood
and stirring my desire
for something over the edge

It wasn’t a face
or a memory
not a wild dream
only me
on the edge
there in the fluttering breeze

Billowing then
and crashing waves
heard the birds sing
and the bells ring
stolen moments in my room
over the edge without a fantasy

This is an excellent write. I enjoyed reading.
