When all I can do,
is sit here and tell the truth.
after conclusions are drawn,
and minds are made up.

Its left without a trace,
its not just simple grace.
If my fate lasts forever.
If you steal me pen from my hand.

Do you realise that I am in pain too,
do you recognize the sympathy in my heart.
There is love here,
where is your love?

I'm losing a battle I cannot even fight,
I let you know the truth,
your conclusions already drawn,
I'm stuck here on my own.

To defend my heart and soul,
Its breaking me down.
Locking me in chains,
I can only begin to forgive.

-In light of everything going on, I am in pain. For all of you who offered your sympathy. And I continue in this pain as I tell the truth and am told that the truth is a lie.-

Kellie, aren't you also jumping to conclusions? I accepted your apology and explanation already, more than once. No need to say anything else, except to reiterate I am glad you were not really hurt, physically.
Now, maybe the real poetry can flow again.

Buck up girl. No one said being an adult was easy. One of the early things to be learned is that pain is a teacher. And the sooner you learn the quicker the pain disappears. Courage as all things happen for our good. It's just that some of it we won't figure out until we get home...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Kellie, my heart goes out to you.  There are many of us who accept you and would sooner try to understand your feelings than so ostracize you.

God bless you my friend...
