Just a little something on intolerance...This was written after a winter of reading too much James Joyce

~      ~       ~       ~       ~       ~

  At 9 less 14 and 10 plus 6 on the 2002 less 111,
the 20 less 1 rent the 1 of 5 and the 2 asunder,
rendering 3003 less 111 ashed under...

These mal evident m’Al Qaeda mal effectors
did loose malicious malmutes
upon the civileyes world..
the technosized whirled..
and the Judeao-Christian whorled...
  The malignant malcontented conspired
to loose this male storm upon the enemies of m’Allah.
AmirS AND OmanS AND SheikS AND AyatollaS AND
their ilk roused the giant from his (s)lumber,
distracting him from a pre-occupation of
Une Self,
Utility Sports,
Unctuous Senators,
Utopian Spas,
Urgent Seminars,
Upscale Shopping and
Unapplied Science.
The giant gathered himself to rid his realm of  terrorpests,
the Arafrats, Palistinyants, and the Kahdaflys.

Irq and Irn, the desert twins,
born in the gravdle of civilization,
nurtured and nourished as Remus and Romulus,
thrived and became mans’ jewels.
They were the cultured pearls of humanity,
the see it of knowledge, art and science.
Allas, allah these fine things were soon lost lots to neglect
and ill-christened cross-dressers.
The Cruel satyr left the impoverished twins to dwell in dessertation,
to dwell in insulation, giving rise priorities to and seigoloedi.

   Compounded confounded meccanization
resulted in the meccaniacal hate red for the giant
for allowing allahless allies to foregive the whollyland to David.
Turmoil roiled and boiled when David mosies
into the proverbial land of Gott milk? and honey,
Torment fermented in the bitter potion He brewed.
The better portion He brewed caused  feud fumes
To engulf Sigh nie, An ill wind
These troubles He brewed, the strubble Is real, the deal repealed
Arafrats’ Palistinyants apprise the uprising Is reality
A salve nation salvation is sought, to end what the ill wind
Brought wrought, to see that the Jihad wrought nought.

~      ~       ~       ~        ~       ~

And as painful as this wordplay was to read? It was headsplit ting to write. Thanks for puttin' up with it!

LOL. I've read Joyce, and can see how your brain gears were working for this write. Between Joyce, the media, the advertisers, the government....
I could go on and on, but I'll spare you... for today, anyway.
THANK YOU! You made me laugh just now, in spite of it all.

And yes, I got milk and cookies
but I'm outta beer!  BOO!!!!

Damn! Kacy...you GET it!

Most impressed! I feared you'd read this and say...HUH?

Dunc, read that as... giving rise to misplaced priorities and backward ideologies...lol

The other is "Crusader" references...gads, there's a bunch of other stuff in that quote too.

In mock-Joycean terms, you've had an epiphanous momentous mini-revelation
...recognition there is yet another branch on this twisted bonsai of moi.
I plowed my way through Ulysses years ago, and still have a migraine from the experience. LOL

Susie? yor're pretty much right on.
"ill-christened cross dressers refers" to:
The "Crusaders'
Christian intolerance (unChristian)
The "cross" displayed on the crusaders uniform.

Thanks for reading into this...Sigh nie, yes

Reading aloud helps too.
