~*~
As I am sitting here writing
feeling so sad and blue
With tears in my eyes
for today I am not seeing you

I am thinking about this
amazing love we share
And how loneliness for you
is almost too much to bear

When an endearing thought
enters into my mind
Of how very fortunate we are
this kind of love to find

So very rare to have found
a love as ours so true
These feelings we have are mutual
they are shared by me and you

So often someone feels
an enormous love for another
But the feeling is not felt
in the heart of the other

So as I am pondering these thoughts
of these lonely feelings we share
These feelings that hurt so badly
and seem so terribly hard to bear

I also think of how thankful we are
though both of us are blue
That we have found in each other
a forever love so true

Then joy enters my heart
a bright smile appears on my face
And I thank God for you
and our love He gave us to embrace
~*~

Dixie, I try to think of the positive, so that
I can cope better.

I felt the positivity of this very deeply; it's good to look for the positive in things; and the warmth here is very uplifting
