~*~
When seas of change
have crossed my path,
it's often been
unnerving.
They caused me strife,
upset my life,
and off I went
a-swerving!

As Father Time
goes passing by,
I've gone more with
the flow.
I may not put,
in my whole foot,
but I'll test waters with
a toe.

When I have grown
accustomed,
to the temperature
of seas,
I've inched my body
into,
the water to
my knees.

It's then I rest,
and reaccesss,
the brand new
situation.
I separate the wheat
from chaff,
and plan new
destination.

When I am in
my comfort zone,
and sense not any
danger,
I open up
like lotus cup,
and act not like
a stranger.

I then wade in,
up to my chin,
with little
trepidation.
I grab the gold,
let go of old,
and gain my
liberation!

~*~

Linda -
damn this is what I have been doing wrong all this time - see usually I just dive right in:

I may not put,
in my whole foot,
but test waters with
my toe.

Fabulous read,,,

as the wheat falls heavy as gold a gentle breeze blows the chaff away...

A voice of honesty
   is treasured
more than voices
   of flattery

WOW!  This is just wonderful Earth Angel!

The words within your poetry gave me so many thoughts as I read them, over and over again.

"As Father Time
goes passing by,
I've gone more with
the flow.
I may not put,
in my whole foot,
just testing waters with
a toe."

-not sure, but wanting to try and see what it's all about.

"When I have grown
accustomed,
to the temperature
of seas,
I've inched my body
into,
the water to
my knees."

-realizing that it wasn't as bad, and wanting to experience more of the same.

"When I am in
my comfort zone,
and sense not any
danger,
I open up
like lotus cup,
and act not like
a stranger."

-FINALLY!  Letting go and giving way to the emotion, situation, or experience.

"I then wade in,
up to my chin,
with little
trepidation.
I grab the gold,
let go of old,
and gain my
liberation!"

-This one speaks a thousand healing words!

I just LOVED it Earth Angel...

Timothysangel ~

Timothy does indeed, have an angel! "WOW" is muy WOW to me! This is definitely one of the most indepth replies that I have ever received! Very thoughtful response and it pleases me that you are adding it to your library.

May the sun, the moon and the stars forever light your way in life.

Loving hugs,
