all sunshine makes
a desert
dance for rain

dance for rain
eradicating rain
sin washing rain

dance to the oasis for
rain

but forestall
the river
Eros
and its
anacondas

make that ford
cesarean

dare sire
a friend
nomad

a friend in the jungle
to come

Reb, every time I read your poetry now,
I think of a Southern evangelical preacher saying the words as I'm reading.  LOL
It is always very interesting.

I have to admit that this was a bit of a mental work out for my linear brain--but I needed the exercise!

Well, you've gotta know that I just love this...rain
being one of my favorite things and all.
This is a very cool write, my friend.  I enjoyed.

loved the way you moved the imagery from rain to desert to procreation and jungle,
leaving the reader to imagine  everything in between

This was timeless, creative and imaginitive...
