after days spent
escaping, lifes
chill sweat
in spinklers
routing
wrinkles
of lint
and grime

the day breaks
and i retire
to recline
as the stars
wink into view
one by one
illiminating the
sky

how i wish
the wind
would stop its
gentle breeze
filling my ears
resonating
memories
as clouds
lit in a days
last light
re-enact
memories
long past

in these inspired
moments under
massive clouds,
Faith
Father
and Fate
lay suddenly tangible
giving solace
and comfort
spurring my will
to believe the whispers
of the wind

let the wind sing her name
if only in echoes
may her love still remain

Mike, this is absolutely beautiful. I'm
really going to enjoy reading your poetry.
