The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2003-07-17 11:57 AM

I travel light, my bag of dreams
clutched beneath my lonely heart
no need for books of poetry
I wander through the forest dark.

I tread upon a wayward path
the one I missed so long ago
tis not too late for a new step
which carries me where e'r I go.

At moonlights glow the passions rise
though little do I have to share
just dreams of that which still may come
if truth be known, someone does care.

Such dreams can rid the world of ills
and bring forth hope and peace and love
my journey nears completion now
my heart still strong with remnants of.

I don't know how I missed this; but, as I expect, wonderfully expressive write

I tread upon a wayward path
the one I missed so long ago
tis not too late for a new step
which carries me where e'r I go.

It's never too late for a new step.  Your words captures my life perfectly at this point in time. I am just few steps away from the right path...the one I believe is right for me.

This verse is a wonderful in every way.

Patricia
