(This poem i wrote in the months after the death of HRH princess Diana's death...Goldenrose).

Walking through war zone with style and grace,
with gentle care and beautiful face,
you made the world focus on peoples plight,
you showed how wrong it was to fight.

People's princess you will always be in our minds,
with your soothing hands and words so kind,
radiant smiles and deeds of good,
high on a pedestal, to us you stood.

Queen of our hearts you gave hope to us all,
now in heaven your name the angels call,
we did not think that you would leave us so early,
now you have walked through the gates of Pearly.

The world is darker without your light,
to radiate the nations and  bring comfort through the night,
the children of the world will miss your kindness,
the sick and the wounded, your gentleness.

You gave hope when there was despair,
you showed people just how to care,
you were a guiding light for a whole generation,
for the causes you supported and your devotion.

Now for eternity your soul will live on,to the end of the Earth and the end of the Sun,
you sit with God on his right hand side,
reward for a world you tried to guide.

I can feel how much she must've meant to you.
Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the things she did.
I'll take your word for it though.
Your sensitivity on the issue shone through.
Thank you I appreciate it..

She would have loved this poem for her, you do write for queens and princess's don't you!
I liked this one of yours, You described her elegantly, and with percission...especially seeing her heart, her love and kindness, which is what she should always be remembered for!

This should be published for her!

I believe there may have been one or two
hundred thousand people
here in the states
that held deep and understanding admiration
for all this young lady went through.

She was human...
she let it show
and in doing so
she glowed.

Phil:

She is smiling, I am sure of it
and the morning this happened, is like when Kennedy was murdered ( not that I was alive for that) but the same feeling . . .
I will never forget watching the news - sleepy eyed wishing it were a dream . . .

Beautiful
