this one is
and this one   be
no he's not
coincidence
he is strength
artistry
pumping blood of ancestry
the Dane
he sees the vision's blood
deep within
the pipe and steel
a glint of copper in the sun
aluminum
to keep the line
tall beyond the average eye
blinded by his light--I see

There you see him
in his work
bending leaf--
as branches sway

he brings to us
a touch   of breeze
there
in that
metallic tree--

I lift my hair
and dance his tease
arch my back in mimickry

touching tin
of stinging heat--
Oden praised
the
madviking...

I await my pillaging.
licking lips
of synergy...

Let me be the Goddess then
steer the point
and rope my sighs
sail on to the harbor
there--
I'll catch the ocean in my thighs.

That flows really well.

I lift my hair
and dance his tease

Sounds amazing.

"I'll catch the ocean in my thighs."

Oh my...where is the line?

Lovely, sensual, flowing...

Well, I read this when you first posted it...several times...
and then I decided that I was coming back later for yet
another read...or maybe more.  Well, I've read it
LOTS of times now, and it just gets better every time.

This...

"I lift my hair
and dance his tease
arch my back in mimickry

touching tin
of stinging heat--
Oden praised
the
madviking...

I await my pillaging.
licking lips
of synergy...

Let me be the Goddess then

and rope my sighs
sail on to the harbor
there--
I'll catch the ocean in my thighs."

Just WOW...I absolutely LOVE it, and especially that last line.
Gotta echo JM...'poetic gold'...spun by the goddess herself.

Love ya, lady.

May Freya grant you safe passage on this journey, this quest a'viking; and, I ask my brother Loki not to plague you with cruel jests of fool's treasures..

smiling at icebox--YOUR BROTHER, huh?

and thanks all, with my apologies for not replying as much, but I'll try to catch up a bit tonight while I cook supper. (It's a method of mine, read, think, cook, reply, simmer, stir and serve. )

Love to all, with my gratitude.
