This day I realize,
a hazy layer
covers the sky.

Deja Vu,
I remember this sun,
Though it burned me
years ago.

The trees
breathe to me,
as a heatwave wind
approaches.

You attempt to
kiss me,
my lips deny.

For in this sky,
the light
hits you
in a certain way.

Sweet flowers beckon
resistance.
I let the aroma sink in,
oblivious
to the instance.

You are not worthy
of me.
