You close your eyes just the same as I
wash into sleep over time never remembered

Shame that you may not know what you tasted
for swallowing too quick

Worth the trouble, the wait, the distance
never questioned what I knew
you were, to me, every tick and cross

The mid morning scream
I have no desire to lose you ever again
sense is lost in such promises

I remember looking thru pitch black
knowing you were there somewhere

Keeping you in mind
laid heavy cost to priceless reason
adored you
this was my bankruptcy freedom

I owned nothing

and had you.

Without you I owned everything.

The moonlit kiss,
the lover's lips..

Shaping my heart as clay and breathing my soul as air...my everything became a nothing to something.

The something what I am and nothing without you.
