where the wild flowers grow

It's amazing how you
tell the tale
as if it were your own.

On my way to work
I trip over earthworms,
dug up by pattering rain.
I felt your hand through my
hair,
it felt like sleeping.

The clock reads four past midnight,
it took that much to make the
sun come back up.
Imagine it, if the
streets were never there.
Like the outside of the interior,
the inside of the exterior.
As when July feels so much like January.
I put the puzzle together
in a way that suits me.

It's quite funny
how you
tell the tale as if it were
your own.
But I don't see you skipping stones
as your walking home.
