You don’t realize how much you love someone until there really gone
You didn’t realize how special they were when they were actually with you
But now that there gone you now realize everything
And you can remember every detail about them
The way they smile
And the way they always know how to make you laugh
The way their touch comforts you when you are feeling alone or down
But now that there gone you realize everything.
So before you say good-bye when you are talking to them on the phone
Make sure you say I love you
Or else you might never get the chance
When you say it make sure that you mean it
Or it means nothing

I guess...I'm not one to say.., but welcome here. Your poetry spoke more truth than anything..something always appreciated.

When you write try and explain the everything that you realize. It'll sound more intimate. That's what gets reader's attention.

There's a lot of truth and good advice in this poem. I really enjoyed reading it.
